SAP MDM Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP MDM professional with 10–12 years of hands-on experience
in implementing and managing SAP Master Data Management solutions. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for leading MDM initiatives, ensuring data quality and governance, and
working closely with cross-functional teams to support business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end SAP MDM implementations, enhancements, and support projects.
- Design and maintain Master Data models across domains like Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance.
- Develop data governance strategies and enforce data quality standards.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and define MDM architecture and workflows.
- Implement MDM solutions using SAP MDG (Master Data Governance), SAP ECC, and S/4HANA environments.
- Manage data migration, data cleansing, data enrichment, and data validation activities.
- Create and manage data distribution interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting for MDM issues and performance tuning.
- Lead workshops, training sessions, and documentation activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives around master data processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in SAP MDM, SAP MDG, and SAP ECC / S/4HANA master data objects.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Data Services (BODS) and SAP Information Steward is a plus.
- Solid understanding of integration techniques (ALE/IDOC, RFC, PI/PO, APIs).
- Deep knowledge of Data Governance frameworks and tools.
- Experience with data modeling, data validation, and consolidation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage stakeholders across business and IT functions.
